IF HUMANS CAN SLIGHTLY AMEND THEIR BEHAVIOURS

 WASTE AND iTS CONTRIBUTION TO CLIMATE CHANGE 

Did you know that organic and inorganic waste that you produce is also a huge contributor to global green house gas emissions?And when you think of climate mitigation and reducing your carbon footprint ,you probably think of driving less and turning out the lights.Basically,a lot of negative effects can be improved if humans slightly amends their behaviours by managing waste in a way that it avoids landfill

Not only is climate change affecting the environment,but also human life .Our energy production,product construction and irresponsible waste management contribute to climate change by adding carbon -based particles into air and this leads to climate change in the natural world leading to frightful changes to our biological systems.

Environmental hazards are becoming more prevalent including extreme weather,an increase danger of fire ,loss of biodiversity and the spread of infectious diseases.on the other hand,the increasing amount of green house gasses caused by organic and inorganic waste leads to acidification of oceans .

When organic waste decomposes,carbon dioxide and methane gas is created and when there is no air present,while carbon dioxide is the natural product when anything rots in air.The production and incineration of inorganic waste uses natural resources such as waste and fuel in their production leading to emission of green house gas

Plastic waste produces green house gas emissions during every stage of its life cycle..The extraction and transportation of plastic is dependent on oil,gas and coal .The product in and disposal of plastics also releases tons of carbon emissions

In order to eliminate these negative effects,we need to consider the following;

1.Refuse to purchase what you don't needing order to prevent the production and disposal of waste

 2.waste production when you buy the things you need by buying bulk rather than buying individually packaged goods

3.Reuse plastic waste and eliminate the need for new plastic products to be mode

4.Recycle what you can't reuse 

*Humans need to amend their behaviours by actually burning the wastes that remain to create energy  , meaning less waste and by doing so , nothing at all is actually sent to landfill
